Royal Valley pounced on Nemaha Central early starting the game with a 9-0 start and leading 18-11 after the 1st quarter, but that lead was only two-points at halftime 28-26. The Thunder then held the 40-39 lead after three quarters and behind a 22-34 performance on the free throw line held off Royal Valley for the three-point win. Rachael Baumgartner led the Thunder with 15 points (9-13 FTs), while Jenna Macke scored 13 points and Jaci Swart added 10 points. Jaycee Worrell led Royal Valley with 19 points, while Tamo Thomas scored 12 points.
