Hiawatha worked out to a 24-18 lead at the half and despite being outscored by Sabetha in the second half the Red Hawks earned the big win at home holding off Sabetha. Emily Gartner posted 25 points and grabbed 25 rebounds to lead Hiawatha, while Cariann Kunkel added 10 points. Alexis McAfee led Sabetha with 17 points.
