Riverside worked out to a 14-12 lead after the 1st quarter, but Royal Valley took the lead in the 2nd quarter and led 27-26 at half time and used a 15-8 3rd quarter to provide some distance between them and the Cyclones and go on to hold on for the three-point win. Kwaki Spoonhunter led Royal Valley with 13 points, while Derrick Barger added 12 points, Noah Rottinghaus scored 11 points and Jarrett Roy chipped in 10 points. Riverside in the loss was led by Alec Miller who scored 17 points, while Grant Shue tallied 10 points.
