Nemaha Central Thunder started the game off with a boom, leading 20-7 after the 1st quarter and used a 16-7 2nd quarter to further distance themselves from Hiawatha. Abe Elder led the Thunder with 16 points, while Luke Holthaus scored 15 points and Devin Henry scored 9 points. Jacob Barnhart led Hiawatha with 5 points in the loss.
