Pleasant Ridge had to fend off Oskaloosa who was looking for the first win of the season and the game went down to the final seconds as Kelsey Carpenter hit a shot with four seconds left to lift Pleasant Ridge to the win. The Rams led 18-15 at the half, but after a 14-7 3rd quarter by Oskaloosa the Bears led 29-25 after three quarter's of play. Pleasant Ridge responded with a 19-13 4th quarter to earn the win. Carpenter led the Rams with 10 points, while Carly Simonis added 9 points. Oskaloosa was led by Maddy Miller who scored 14 points, while Tomi-Lyn Hickman added 10 points.
