Axtell flew out to the early lead against Clifton-Clyde, leading 16-9 after the 1st quarter and held a 39-24 lead at the half, on their way to the win. Adam Kuckelman had for 10 points, while Tyler Jones added 12 points, Shane Talbot contributed 11 points and both Colton Buessing and Andrew Feldkamp added 9 points. Matt Barnes led Clifton-Clyde with 16 points in the loss, while Cole Mills and Andrew Seifert added 10 and 8 points, respectively.
