Valley Heights established the 31-16 lead at the half and used a 21-11 4th quarter to close out the game to open the season by topping Centralia. Brandi Jo Roepke tallied 26 points, while Sidney Blackburn scored 20 points and Kayla Smith added 10 points for Valley Heights. Centralia in the loss was led by Liz Hasenkamp who scored 13 points, while Cassidy Haufler posted 9 points and Katie Glatczak added 8 points.
