Troy led 6-0 after the first quarter and then really put the game away in the second quarter with 20 more points in the board.
Troy quarterback Kaston Jasper completed 23-of-38 passes for 385 yards and six touchdowns. Caden Rosenberger had eight receptions for 113 yards and two touchdowns. Colt Jensen finished with 10 receptions for 138 yards and three touchdowns.
Horton got their two touchdowns in the fourth quarter on a pair of pick-six's from Gaskell and Thomas. The Chargers finished the game with just 48 yards of total offense.
