The win for Axtell secured the Twin Valley League championship and put them in the drivers seat to claim the district championship if they can beat Frankfort in the final game of the regular season.
It was Axtell's 46th consecutive win and they continue to build on the longest 8M winning streak in the nation and they also have the third longest winning streak overall in the nation.
Brandon Schmelzle rushed for 180 yards and 4 touchdowns while throwing for 133 yards and 2 more scores. Landon Schmitz and Eli Broxterman both caught touchdown passes.
