After Nemaha Central had their 26-game winning streak snapped in a week one loss to Marysville, the Thunder bounced back with a big win over Silver Lake to get to 1-1. Thunder QB Carter Hajek ran for 175 yards and 3 touchdowns while adding 145 passing yards and two more scores.
Nemaha Central outscored the Eagles 21-0 in the second half and outgained Silver Lake 345-179 on the night.
