Hiawatha leaned on RB Josh Monaghan early in the game, with the senior punching in the game’s opening touchdown to give the Red Hawks the 7-0 lead. The Panthers followed that up with a touchdown to get within 7-6. 

Royal Valley led 18-7 after two touchdowns in the second half. Hiawatha got a 75 yard kickoff return touchdown from Ethan Henry which made the score 18-13 and that would hold up.
