Hayden is one of the top teams in 3A and they showed it in their win over the Kaws in district play. The Kaws hung around but weren't able to get anything going on offense.
The Wildcats led the game 12-0 at halftime but scored 15 points in the third quarter to put the game away. The Wildcats finished the game with 172 rushing yards and 159 passing yards.
The Kaws finished the game with 138 rushing yards and 70 passing yards. Bronzen Rush led the Kaws running game with 58 yards on 19 carries while Tristan Gorden added 51 yards on 13 carries.
