The game started off slow for the Cobras as they had two turnovers on their first three offensive snaps of the game.
Riverside would capitalize on the second fumble recovery with a four yard touchdown from Elijah Moore which would be the only Cyclones score of the game.
From that point on, it was all Jackson Heights. They had a stretch from the end of the first quarter to midway through the third quarter with four consecutive touchdown drives which put the game away.
Those four drives covered 92, 48, 83, and 43 yards.
Cobras sophomore quarterback Drake Mellies led the way with 28 carries for 156 yards and four touchdowns while Kade Holliday added 137 yards on 16 carries with another score.
Jackson Heights outgained Riverside in the rushing department 306-86 and they held Riverside to negative rushing yards in the second half.
