The Big Seven league title race became open after the Holton Wildcats handed the Nemaha Valley Raiders their first loss of the season. Holton struck early with a 23-11 1st quarter but the Raiders pushed back into the game despite being down at the half as Nemaha Valley used a 25-15 3rd period to get back into the game but ultimately were not able to dig out of the early hole.
Holton was lead by four players in double figures with Garrett Beecher going off for 22 points to lead the way. Tyler Burdiek added 14 points on the night, while Cameron Karn and Trent Tanking each posted 13 points.
Raiders were lead by Trent Olberding with 23 points as Caleb Meyer chipped in 13 points and Creighton Brinker added 11 points.
