2A Republic County Sub-State Championship

A 13-7 second quarter gave Valley Heights a 23-17 lead at the half but Smith Center came back to tie the game with a 15-9 third quarter only to see the Mustangs finish the game with a 14-10 fourth quarter and earn the win. Emma Toerber posted 14 points for for Valley Heights, while Sam Vermetten tallied 13 points, Kayla Smith added 10 points and Shea Manley scored 9 points.
