Holton took advantage of an early fumble on kickoff by Baldwin and scored on a AJ Haussler run to take a early 6-0 lead and then added a 25-yard field goal by Paul Kuffner to lead 9-0 at halftime. Baldwin scored on the final play of the game and got the 2-point conversion to make it ultimately a one-point game in the end. The Wildcats ran for 249 yards with Haussler rushing for 91 yards on 18 carries with the lone Holton TD.
