Tied 8-8 at the half Axtell would trail in the 3rd quarter and enter the 4th down 22-16 to Wakefield but a 12-0 4th quarter and strong defense lifted the Eagles to the win. Quinn Buessing was 22-32 for 210 yards with 2 TDs and a TD run, while Michael Swanson had 68 yards on 11 carries with a TD and ran for 86 yards on 8 carries. Hunter Koch caught 11 passes for 111 yards with 2 TDs. 

Axtell outgained Wakefield 318 to 238 yards total offense.
