Valley Heights poured in 27 points in the second quarter (27-13 second) to take a 37-21 lead into intermission over Wetmore and behind a 20-28 night from the free throw line along with 10 made three-pointers earned the Mustangs the win. Bryan Yungeberg led Valley Heights with 22 points hitting five three's, while Logan Woodyard scored 18 points. Jeremy Reed chipped in 13 points for the Mustangs and Harrison Blaske posted 11 points. Wetmore in the loss was led by Ethan Osterhaus who scored 19 points, while Joel Hutfles posted 14 points, Jonathan Hlady-Bailey scored 11 points and Kyle Bloom added 10 points.
