Up only 16-11 at intermission Valley Heights pushed the game to double figures in the second half but led just 31-23 after three quarter's against Centralia. The Panthers got as close as five points in the final minute of the game but ultimately Valley Heights held them at bay for the win. Bryan Yungeberg led Valley Heights with 19 points, while Logan Woodyard scored 11 points. Jason Gore led Centralia with 13 points and Daegan Steinlage netted 10 points.
