Troy took an early 19-5 lead after the first quarter against Axtell, but the Eagles responded with a 23-16 second quarter to make it 35-28 at the half in favor of Troy. The Trojans secured the win with a 23-10 fourth quarter with 20 points from Cuttar Huss leading the way. Reid Greaser chipped in 15 points for Troy, while Wyatt Huss tallied 14 and Wil Smith scored 11 points. Axtell was led by Quinn Buessing who scored 19 points, while Nate Buessing tallied 14 points.
