Holton Wildcats earned the road playoff first round win over Baldwin but had to hold on to the win. The Wildcats got out to a 6-0 lead and looked like they would lead by that margin headed into halftime until they scored twice in a short period of time just before the half to lead 20-0 at halftime. In the second half Baldwin outscored Holton 14-0 and the Wildcats had to hold on for the win.
Holton held Baldwin to 178 yards of total offense in the game, while the Wildcats ran for 245 yards in the contest. Spencer Baum ran for 94 yards on 24 carries while catching a 38-yard TD pass from Miles McClintock-Strozier who added a rushing TD in the game. Baldwin also had three turnovers in the contest.
