The #1-Ranked team of class 1A DII in the Hanover Boys put on a dominant display of offensive performance over the Centralia Panthers in a 77-59 game.
Centralia kept pace initially scoring first with Aiden Talley under the basket, but didn’t hang on much past the first quarter as Hanover would be up 41-32 by the end of the first half. Centralia still kept tight in the game in the first half decently through impressive performances from Aiden Talley with 10 points all inside the paint, Bronx Talley with two first quarter threes, and Quinten Alderfer with 14 points by the half.
The Hanover Wildcats worked greatly out of transition and had five steals that resulted in points in the first half, they continued the defense and offensive work in the second half as well.
Hanover outscored Centralia 19-12 in the third quarter and would shut the game down in the fourth with both teams running subs in the final minutes. Hanover secured the victory 77-59.
Hanover had four players in double digit scorers to end the game with Braylon Meyn leading the charge with over twenty. Centralia was led by Quinten Alderfer with 22 points and exceeded over 800 points in his career, sitting now at 820.
Centralia is 8-8 on the season and now 4-1 in the TVL. Hanover remains undefeated 15-0 overall and 6-0 in the league.
