The Axtell boys and Clifton-Clyde girls won the Twin Valley League meet on Thursday afternoon at Washington County.
Axtell finished the day with 157 points while Clifton-Clyde finished in second place with 95 points.
The Eagles had a bevy of first place finishes with Gavin Shaughnessy winning both the 800 and 1600m events, Landon Schmitz won both the 110m and 300m hurdle events, Logan Sandmann won the high jump, Brandon Schmelzle won the long jump, and they swept all three relay events.
Clifton-Clyde had two first place finishes from Brady Pruser in the pole vault and Cohen Girard in the 3200m run.
Frankfort's Carter Olsen swept the 100m and 200m dash events and lowered both of his school records in the process.
Washington County with 57 points, Frankfort with 45 points, and Valley Heights with 44 points to round out the top five in the team standings.
The Clifton-Clyde girls won the meet with 100 points while Washington County finished in second place with 92 points, and Centralia finished in third place with 71 points.
Clifton-Clyde was led by Sevy Wurtz who won three events. She won the long jump, the 100m dash, and 200m dash events. Calyn Baker won two events in the shot put and discus events.
Washington County's McKenzie Baker won the 800m run while Addy Goeckel won both hurdle events. Jesse Hoover added a first place finish in the javelin.
Doniphan West with 53 points and Hanover with 47 points rounded out the top five in the team standings.
