The Rossville boys basketball team won the Valley Falls mid-season tournament title defeating Perry-Lecompton in Saturday's championship game 49-41.
The Kaws defeated Rossville the previous week in a regular season matchup but the Dawgs were able to get revenge in the title game at Valley Falls.
Rossville beat Jefferson County North 75-24 in the quarterfinals and then held off NEK in the semifinals 66-60.
Perry-Lecompton defeated Valley Falls 58-45 in the quarterfinals and then beat Jefferson West 59-30 in the semifinals.
Rossville has won four of their last five games and have an overall record of 8-3 while Perry-Lecompton had their three game winning streak snapped with their record 5-7 overall.
The Kaws had two named to the all-tournament team with Marius Carlsen and Ronnie Baker. Jack Donovan and Cameron Miller were named to the all-tournament team from Rossville.
