K-Preps have released their updated rankings ahead of the sectional round playoff matchups this week. 

It's not shocking at all that Axtell is still the #1 ranked team in 8M-II after they won their 49th straight game last week beating Rural Vista 54-0. 

The Eagles travel to face 7-3 Osborne this week. 

Frankfort comes in at #5 in 8M-II as they defeated Marmaton Valley last week 46-0. Wildcats have a tough draw this week as they host #3 Burlingame. 

Clifton-Clyde jumps into the 8M-I ranks this week at #4 after they beat Oswego last week 44-20. They travel to Madison this week and have won eight straight games. 

#2, #3, and #4 in Class 1A covered by area teams this week with Jackson Heights, Rossville, and Centralia. 

Jackson Heights beat Troy last week while Rossville defeated McLouth. Those two teams play in the sectional round this week at Jackson Heights with the broadcast on 96.9 KOZA and the Cobra Channel. 

Centralia beat Olpe last week and travels to St. Marys-Colgan with that broadcast on 92.1 KMZA. 

Nemaha Central holds their spot at #2 in 2A and will travel to face #3 Osage City in what is the marquee matchup in the 2A quarterfinals this week. That broadcast will be on 103.9 KNZA.
