K-Preps have released their updated football rankings ahead of regional round games on Friday night. 

Axtell remains #1 in 8M-II as their winning streak is up to 48 games after the win last week against Thunder Ridge. 

Hanover at 8-1 is ranked #4 in the classification. Axtell hosts Rural Vista this week while the Wildcats play at #3 Burlingame. 

Undefeated Jackson Heights is #2 in Class 1A and will host Troy this week. That broadcast on 103.9 KNZA and the Cobra Channel courtesy of MSC Sports. 

Rossville beat Wabaunsee last week to advance in the playoffs and they're ranked #3 in 1A. Rossville hosts 7-2 McLouth this week. 

Two-time defending champs in 2A Nemaha Central continue to hold the #2 spot in the class behind only Southeast of Saline. 

Thunder hosts Sabetha this week with that broadcast on the Sabetha Channel.
