The Jackson Heights football team secured the district championship and an undefeated regular season with a 52-0 win at Jefferson County North on Friday.
The Cobras (8-0) led 7-0 after the first quarter and built that lead to 31-0 at halftime.
A running clock was issued in the second half and they were able to add three more touchdowns in the second half.
Cobras quarterback Drake Mellies rushed for over 200 yards and passed for more than 100 yards with four total touchdowns.
Austin Zeller had over 100 yards receiving and a touchdown while Titus Eisenbarth rushed for 73 yards and a score while Kade Holliday added 66 rushing yards and two second half touchdowns.
JCN (5-3) finishes as the #3-seed in the district and will go on the road in the first round of the playoffs.
Jackson Heights will have home field advantage throughout the entire Class 1A playoffs beginning next week.
