The Silver Lake and Jefferson West girls golf teams posted top five finishes at the 3-2-1A State Tournament this week at Emporia Municipal Golf Course.
St. Marys-Colgan and Silver Lake finished with the same two-day team score of 718 but St. Marys-Colgan won the tiebreaker as they had the best fifth score.
Goodland would take third place while Jefferson West would finish in fourth. Caney Valley and Colby rounded out the team standings.
Silver Lake's Taylor Zordel finished in fourth place with a two-day score of 164. She shot an 86 on Monday and improved with a 78 on Tuesday.
Jefferson West's top two tied for 14th place as both Katelin Lohmann and Izzy Higgins finished with a two-day score of 181. Lohmann went 94-87 while Higgins went 89-92.
Silver Lake also had Kailyn Hanni finish in 13th with a score of 180 and Makenna Miller finish in a tie for 14th with a 181.
