In a game that fully lived up to its billing, Maur Hill-Mount Academy came from behind to take a road victory at Jackson Heights 18-14.
The first half was dominated by the defenses and at intermission the game remained a scoreless tie. MH-MA scored first, mid-third quarter, on a 26 yard Taylor Folsom field goal. The Cobras answered with a 26 yard TD run by Cooper Williams and after recovering an on-sides kick scored again less than two minutes later on a run by Dylan Thompson, going up 14-3.
The fourth quarter belonged to the Ravens who saw both Jack Caudle and Andrew Schwinn (after a MH-MA on-sides kick recovery) score rushing TD's to complete the come back.
MH-MA improves to 3-0 while Jackson Heights goes to 2-1 on the season.
