Sabetha Bluejays boy's golf team stepped outside of the area to continue their season and competed at the Topeka Seaman Invite on Wednesday competing against mostly 6A schools and put forth a strong showing. 

With a team score of 322 the Bluejays finished sixth place out of 13 teams with the winning team score being 299 by KC Rockhurst. 

Leading the way for Sabetha individually was a Top 10 performance by Jesse Burger who posted a 75 score on the links to take seventh and finished only four-strokes off of the top score on the day. Garrett Scott also medaled on the day shooting a 78 to place 13th. 

Four other Sabetha golfers were in action on the day as both David Pierson and Tanner Ukele shot under 90 finishing with rounds of 81 and 88, respectively which rounded out the Bluejays team scores. Carson Ukele and Riley Lierz notched rounds of 91 and 95 to finish out the scores for Sabetha at the Topeka-Seaman Invite. 

The season continues for Sabetha golfer's on Thursday, April 26th as the Bluejays will compete at the St. Mary's Invitational.
