Benedictine rolled to a 66-17 win over Peru State in the Oak Bowl Saturday afternoon in the final game of the 2017 regular season.
BC jumped out to a 24-0 lead early in the game and after the Ravens forced five Peru State turnovers in the second half, including a pick-six, they went on to score on six of their eight second half possessions.
Ejay Johnson and Marquis Stewart both finished with over 100 yards rushing and had two touchdowns each.
Benedictine moves to 9-2 on the season and enters the NAIA Football National Championship Tournament.
Next Saturday Benedictine will begin its quest for a national title wih a roadtrip to Ft Wayne, IN and a date with the undefeated reigning national champions #1 St. Francis University.
