Fall Academic All State Teams Named by NSAA

The Nebraska School Activities Association has announced the recipients of the Fall 2013 Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association Academic All-State Awards.

Students are nominated by he schools for their individual academic excellence, leadership and significant contributions in their NSAA activity.

Selected in their sports for the fall seasons were:

Football:  Jarod Feigener and Colin Niemeyer from Falls City Sacred Heart;  Mitchell Harling and Reese Hogue from Falls City; Noah Sherman from HTRS; Grant Badertscher and Tyler Speckmann from Johnson County Central; Scott Borcher and Hayden Meyer from Pawnee City;  Chaysen Bednar from Southern and Thomas Tucker from Sterling.

Cross Country:  Tyler Barker, Melissa Davison and Cierra Wynn from Auburn;  Anthony Baker, Brandon Gibson, Lainey Larsen and Elizabeth Oliver from Falls City;  Aaron Johnson and Sam Saldivar from Johnson County Central.

Volleyball:  Carmen Alexander and Courtney Allen of HTRS;  Lauren Klassmeyer and Tiffany Neukirch of Johnson County Central;  Erin Bohling and Nicole Carbajal of Johnson-Brock;  Shelby Hundley and Natasha Sejkora of Pawnee City;  Kelsey Buss and Jeryn Creek of Southern;  Taylor Cockerill and Erika Goracke of Sterling; Maggie Goltz and Ashli Jordan of Sacred Heart; Madison Olberding and Baylee Vrtiska of Falls City;  Mallory Parrish and Julie Slama of Auburn;  

Softball:  Brooke Scheitel and Kristyn Buchholz of Falls City; Chelsea Haynes of Auburn; Carissa Carlin of HTRS; Melissa Bausch and Erika Hunzeker of Johnson County Central;  Haley Trauernicht and Kiersten Zvolanek of Southern.

Girls Golf:  Amanda Dyas and Lindsay Harlow of HTRS;  Kaycee Bartels of Johnson County Central;
