Valley Falls opens up season with road DVL win, almost doubling up their opponents the Mustangs of Doniphan West. Dragons shot off to a quick start leading it 21-8 after the 1st quarter and used Luke Burns 18 points and Ben Gantz 12 to earn the win. Derek Gibson for the Mustangs was the only D-West player in double figures with 11 points. Valley Falls was 11 of 15 from the free throw line and played without returning starter, Gates Glassel, who is out with an injury.
