Football - Centralia vs Lyndon 11/16/2012 7:00 PM

A defensive battle was thought to be this contest but 41 of the 48 total points scored in the game were scored in the first half of action (one TD in 1st half was defensive TD).

Centralia dominated the line of scrimmage and did so offensively and defensively in the game. Panthers outgained the Tigers of Lyndon 417 to 283 total yards. Centralia's 417 yards were all on the ground rushing as they didn't complete a pass in the game (only attempted 4).

QB, JT Rosine lead the way on the ground with 24 carries for 213 yards 3 TDs; while TB, Sam Steinlage added 161 yards on 17 carries and a TD, plus a fumble recovery TD on defense and a sack (left with left leg injury late in game). Sophomore, Joey Ferron tallied a sack and FB, Trevor Mars had 47 yards rushing on the night.

Panthers extended states current longest winning streak to 21 straight games and made it to the Class 2-1A state title game for the 2nd straight year.
