It was a back and forth game and Holton down with 1:11 to go scored on a 65 yard pass from Jaxon Wright to Trent Tanking (pass was in the flat with Tanking getting most of the 65 yards after the catch) to give the Wildcats the lead and the win.
Holton lead 10-0 after the 1st quarter, but trailed McPherson 14-10 at the half. Third quarter was about even with 7 put up by Holton and 6 by McPherson, for a 20-17 McPherson lead after three. Holton outscored McPherson 14-7 in the 4th to win.
