Redhawks had a tough task on their hands against top ranked team in Class 3A, Silver Lake. Hiawatha held tough early down only 28-14 at the half but were outscored 35-12 in the second half.

Silver Lake had many big plays against Hiawatha registering four TD's of 50+ yards, but Hiawatha had a few big plays themselves, just not enough. Denzel Chilcoat for the second straight game returned a kickoff to the house for a score, while Connor Bigham caught a 53 yard TD pass from BJ Chilcoat.
