Hiawatha never trailed in this district championship game and turned a 7-0 halftime lead into a 21-12 victory at Sabetha. Denzel Chilcoat accounted for all three touchdowns for HIawatha running for 150 yards on 15 carries. McKenzie McAfee had 125 yards on 20 totes to lead Sabetha who falls to 4-5 and as the district runner-up will travel to play Riley County for the third straight season.
