Doniphan West Mustangs opened District play by picking up their first win of the season. Mustangs led 13-6 at the half over Marantha and outscored them 13-0 in the second half, while putting together 340 total yards of offense. Lane Spiker had 110 yards on 8 carries, while picking off two passes on defense, while Wade Joyce posted 133 yards on 19 carries and had 2 TDs. Tynan Bollinger added a rushing TD and Levi Watts was 3-4 for 26 yards with a TD pass to Cooper Leach. The Mustang defense forced four Maranatha turnovers.
