Axtell behind the air attack opened District play with a win as the Eagles quarterback, Colton Buessing was 23-30 for 365 yards 6 TDs, INT and ran for 2 TDs. Adam Kuckelman caught three passes for 107 yards and 2 TDs, while Shane Talbot caught nine passes for 128 yards and 2 TDs and Jacob Meybrunn and Kaleb Buessing each caught a TD pass. Tyler Jones notched 18 tackles on defense and an INT.
Frankfort in the loss had Jase Suther rush for 93 yards on 24 carries and TD, while taking a kick back 67-yards for a score. Also, Adam Kenworthy had a TD run and TD pass to Sheldon Parthemer. Lane Rogers had an INT on defense for the Wildcats.
