It was a scoring barrage by the Hanover Wildcats against the Axtell Eagles and Hanover's defense came up big too with the shutout. Preston Jueneman tallied touchdowns on both sides of the ball with a 55-yard interception return and a rushing TD, also. Andrew Bruna was 11-17 for 209 yards and 4 TDs; two going to Ethan Diederich and two too, Evan Zabokrtsky who caught four passes for 118 yards.

Axtell struggled throughout the contest only amassing 84 total yards of offense in the competition.
