Oskaloosa Bears made it a 2-0 start to district play as they cruised past Immaculata behind a rushing attack that posted 468 yards on the ground. A 30-6 second quarter, pushed Oskaloosa to a 46-12 lead at the half and ultimately the win. The Bears offense was spear headed by the junior tandem of Luis Rodriguez and Justin Sharp who ran for 303 yards together and five of the eight TDs scored in the game by the Bears. Rodriguez posted 104 yards on 10 carries and 2 TDs, while Justin Sharp ran for 199 yards on 15 carries for 3 TDs. Bryce Stottlemire chipped in 2 TDs and Josh Lutze added another.
Immaculata had a strong game from Drew Sachen who was 7-12 for 157 yards 2 TDs & 20 carries for 154 yards and 2 TDs, in the loss. Cory Holcomb had the big receiving game with three catches for 114 yards and 2 TDs, but four turnovers plagued the Raiders.
