On homecoming the Ravens of Maur Hill came away with their first win of the season topping the Horton Chargers by two points. A 17-6 second quarter put things in favor of the Ravens helping them to the victory as Brian Scott awas 5-6 for 125 yards and TD pass to Mark McDermed. Austin Geenens added a rushing attack for the Ravens with 86 yards on 17 carries and two TDs. While the offense stepped up the defense did also for the Ravens coming up with six sacks, three by Jake Schmidt and also tallying a pair of INT's.
For Horton in the loss Derrick Stone was 4-9 for 83 yards and TD, while Derek Richardson was 4-10 for 61 yards. Josh Allen on the ground attack had 13 carries for 107 yards and TD, while Jordan Mathias added 15 carries for 81 yards TD. Dakota Bayles had the best receiving night for Horton in the loss with four catches for 81 yards TD.
