Despite rushing the ball for 444 yards as a team the Onaga Buffalos came up a little short in the district play opener. Wyatt Cordell lead the Buffalos offense with 157 yards on 20 carries and 3 TDs, while he was 4-6 for 48 yards passing and a TD. Michael Bliss added a nice night with 28 carries for 198 yards and TD and tallied 11 tackles on defense, while Tyler Murray ran for 81 yards on 17 carries and TD. Tight end, Jarod Gronewoller caught the TD pass from Cordell for Onaga.
Northern Heights used a balanced attack to notch the win posting 244 yards passing and 251 yards rushing.
