Cyclones whirled their way to a 4-0 start topping the Trojans behind the feet of quarterback, Andrae McGaughy and tailback, Drew Hoffman who combined for over 200 yards rushing. McGaughy carried the ball 21 times for 115 yards and 2 TDs, while Hoffman ran for 187 yards on 30 carries and 3 TDs.

In the loss for Troy, Colin Jasper was 11-22 for 103 yards and TD pass that went to Nathan Gaarder for 7-yards.
