This was just the second all-time meeting between the two schools with Riley County winning the matchup last season and the Tigers bouncing back to open the season in 2025. 

Tigers freshman quarterback Brixton Schwinn completed 8-of-14 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown while adding six carries for 48 yards and another score. 

The Tigers finished the game with 161 rushing yards averaging nearly five yards per carry.
