It was the first true road game for Sacred Heart this season. Jayden DeWalt scored the first touchdown of the game for Valley Heights early in the second quarter. 

They would add another touchdown on a 47-yard pass to lead 12-0 and they would take a 12-6 lead into the half. 

The Mustangs led 18-8 in the third quarter after a 50-yard touchdown run and they were able to add and hold on from there.
