Another dominate performance by Atchison as they improve to 2-0 with the win over Sumner Academy.
Phoenix QB Trey Carter completed 7/13 passes for 119 yards and 3 touchdowns. Carter added 72 rushing yards and another score as Atchison rushed for 248 yards as a team and averaged nearly 10 yards per carry.
Jaden Carter scored three touchdowns and added 80 rushing yards while Chris Bennett had 74 yards and a touchdown on just three carries.
J.Z. Kelley caught three passes for 36 yards and 2 touchdowns.
