The Axtell Eagles avenged a sub-state semifinal loss to Frankfort from last year with a fast start to the game. Eagles pushed out to an 11-0 start to the ballgame and lead it 26-19 at the half. Axtell was lead on the night by a stellar performance of 33 points, 13 rebounds and 7 blocks by junior, Payton Heinen. Aaron Schmelzle and Taylor Platt added 14 and 11 points each also for the Eagles.

Frankfort was lead by Calahan Brown with 17 points and Alex Surdez who tallied 16 points.
