Holton was denied a 7th straight trip to the Class 4A State Tournament in Salina as they ended the season with another loss to Wamego. The Wildcats went 21-2 with a loss to start the year and end the year against Wamego. The game was tied 15 each after one quarter but Wamego won the second quarter 15-3 and the Wildcats could never catch up. Krystie Miller, the only non-senior in Holton's varsity 9-player rotation, led the Cats 14 points and Conner Strader finished with 8. The Page sisters combined to score 30 for Wamego.
