In the first round of the Tonganoxie Tournament, number three seed Holton got off to a sluggish start and trailed 19-13 after one quarter.  However, the Wildcats clicked into high gear in the second stanza and kept adding to their lead in the second half for the 14 point win. 

Ty Burdiek scored 19 points, Garrett Beecher had 13 and Cameron Karn for Holton, who improved to 4-0 in 2013.
